Devin S. Luqman, Esq. is an associate at the Frederick, Maryland office. Devin’s practice focuses on the effects a potential criminal charge may have on an individual’s immigration case. Devin joined the firm in 2016. Devin received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Baltimore School of Law in 2013. During law school, he participated in the Maryland Rule 16 Criminal Defense Legal Clinic with the Public Defender’s Office. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar, as well as the Frederick County Bar Association. Before joining Konare Law, Devin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Theresa M. Adams, in the Circuit Court for Frederick County.
Devin then worked with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, where he represented hundreds of individuals in a broad range of criminal matters. Many cases at the Public Defender’s Office required a specialized understanding of how a criminal charge can impact an individual’s immigration status, and Devin has guided many immigrants through the criminal justice system.
Devin is active in his community and serves as an attorney advisor for the Tuscarora High School Mock Trial Team. In his free time, Devin enjoys graphic design and music production.
Devin is a member of the Maryland State Bar, as well as the Frederick County Bar Association.
